I had ordered for myself the salted-roasted in the shell, but got the regular-roasted, ate them anyway, still very good, but was disappointed that they didn't get the order right, and will wonder what they will send to the people I sent some to for Christmas. I will order from them again.

I thought I ordered JUMBO what I got was small!!! They are fresh and good but very small! I know what JUMBO looks like as I have purchased them before. I will not order them from Bertie Peanuts again. Remember, they are very tasty but small.

I was happy with the delivery and appearance of the peanut order. The taste was superb, with just the right amount of salt. The only disappointing fact about the basket of nuts is y that there were very few 4 nut peanuts...mostly 2 nut shells with a good sprinkling of 3 nut shells, but very few 4 nut peanuts. Maybe that's just the way the cookie (er...peanut) crumbles.

Of the three types of roasted peanuts ordered, we have tasted only the salty variety. Our order, placed early in late Nov., was full-flavored and delicious. When we open the plain and the spicy-hot bags I will report on their tastes. Incidentally, from an aesthetic point of view, the burlap bags are adorable! They add a wonderful, exciting touch, even better than expected from the photos online. I will keep the bags for "rustic" decoration in the kitchen. I will put them to good use permanently. Thank you for an extremely quality product!

I have been purchasing salted shelled peanuts over 10 years now, about the same time too. I can't remember anytime that I have been disappointed and neither have the family and friends that I have given these burlap bags of peanuts too. I swear I tell them every year how to get them and the card in the bag shows the way. But they wait for me. So here it is that time again. It's a gift that keeps on giving, until the bag is empty. I love the peanuts! They are fresh and easy to crack open. The salt has penetrated the shell so not just the outside of the shell is salty - the peanut inside also has salt on it! I tried many different brands of slated-in-the-shells peanuts over the years and these are the best.

The peanuts are always fresh and tastes great. I would recommend these to anyone that likes fresh peanuts. It reminds me of a time along the Atlantic City Boardwalk. I have ordered before with an order that happened to have some excess empty shells, however the Bertie County Peanuts were quick to make amends. He particularly loves Bertie peanuts and is alway surprised an happy when a surprise box arrives for him. He did mention that the latest batch he received was the very best, freshest of all! I agree they were extremely fresh and I found it hard to stop eating them! Dan did mention though that the last box he received was just "OK" - did not seem to be a fresh as others he received. But overall your roasted peanuts are tasty, fresh and a real treat.

My love for Berties Peanuts began as a gift from my boss at work during Christmas each year. Now that I'm retired I thought Berties Peanuts would make great gifts for friends and family members. I just wanted to comment that my experience with them has been great. I made several purchases and everyone has thought they tasted great including myself. They also loved the little burlap sack. I had one issue arise where I emailed customer support, they responded in a timely fashion and it was resolved in no time flat. Everything was delivered quickly and well packed. We have got peanuts in the shell from Walmart, a store here and nuts .com and they were old and did not taste good at all. Both 2 lb bags arrived together in 1 box. Bags are of the burlap type giving that reminiscence of burlap used on my grandfather's farm (early and mid-1900s) for a variety of purposes. Enjoyed seeing facsimiles of these again!!! The peanuts are in the shell, roasted, salted just right for the palate. Love them as do my wife and our 2 dogs. When these 2 see that we are securing a bowl of these nuts for a late afternoon snack with a Winter Mojito or Old Fashioned, they get excited as do we. We really enjoy cracking the shell and softly picking out the peanut for a delicious nibble. We really enjoy these and will reorder again (looks like that will be sooner than later). I would recommend if you like roasted, salted, peanuts in the shell!!!!

Buying the whole nuts in the bags is the way to go. As we open the bags my wife likely toasts them in the convection oven and serve them warm and toasted. The salt is nicely applied and adds to the goodness. On Saturdays we sit out back waiting football and sharing these peanuts.

The lightly salted in-shell peanuts are delicious, and so much fresher than the stores. Years ago we had ordered from Bertie Peanuts and always brought a burlap bag of peanuts when we had our yearly camping trip with friends. Sitting around the fire at Happy Hour with our drinks and your peanuts made for a special event. but we stopped buying when the shipping prices, especially to the Pacific Northwest, skyrocketed. When I was able to order with free shipping I immediately came back to your company. You may not keep the free shipping, but if you add it back in perhaps the shipping costs can be more reasonable than they were years ago.

Best in-shell salted peanuts I've had in years. Out here in California it's hard to get fresh in-shell salted peanuts. These peanuts are distinctly better. Also packaged in a way that provides a great casual gift.

Every year I try to buy a case of the 2 lb. sacked roasted salty peanuts. Everyone likes them and some look forward to getting them. These are great gifts to casually give out to neighbors, friends and family. The burlap bags they come in tend to end up being part of someone's decor or crafty project. But no one throws them away. The quality of the peanuts are just better than what you'll fine at any big box stores. Try em. You'll see how well they are liked.

I buy a case of the 2# bags every year. mostly to give out as a friendly gesture like the bag that was given to me when I was there at Bertie County Peanuts installing some equipment 20+ years ago. I generally give 6 of the 8 away. The burlap bags are kind of a crafty thing for women to do stuff with and they like them as much as the men like the peanuts. Everyone like peanuts and they are special. Christmas is just around the corner.

I grew up around baseball parks and loved the peanuts in the shells. The only ones that I found in the last few years were Hampton Farms in the grocery stores or online. What a difference when I tried Bertie County peanuts. Fresh and crispy with the taste that I remember from the ball parks!

My Mom and I were reflecting on one of my childhood memories of a man that sold salted peanuts in a lunch bag on my way to grade school and she had heard about your peanuts from her sister who lives in NC so she decided to order me a bag. I was surprised to receive the package and immediately opened it to find the peanuts inside the burlap bag. I sat down and began to consume the best salted peanuts that I have ever had. The size and flavoring are just perfect! I ordered the hot and spicy ones to try something different - and wow these are so good too! I normally eat the hot and spicy one first and then followup with the salted ones. Thank you for making great products!
