I remember roasting raw peanuts that someone had brought me from "down south", how they were so much fresher than the packaged roasted peanuts in the supermarket. I finally came across an article on various peanut uses, so decided to try some more of my own roasting at home. These peanuts are not disappointing; they are large, flavorful and crunchy. And being already shelled and blanched, they are ready for other uses (such as peanut butter).

This was the first time we ever had raw peanuts. They came in some very neat sacks that were printed with the company name / logo. The appearance of the peanuts is very good and consistent. We have roasted a couple trays of them so far in the oven and they have turned out very well. They are a yummy treat and easy to make.

We order the blanched extra large shelled peanuts and they are beautiful. Deep fried them and gave mason jars of them for Christmas presents. Quick delivery too! We have tried another source that were a bit cheaper but prefer Bertie County nuts!

Peanuts were wonderful, however, I had to pick out threads of the burlap bag from every cup of peanuts I measured out for my sugared peanuts. Paper or canvas bags might be better.

You are correct. You did order Raw Shelled Redskin Peanuts - shelled peanuts are peanuts that are out of the shell. Evidently you wanted Raw In Shell Peanuts, so we'll see what we can do to correct that problem.

Easy ordering from a very user friendly website. Raw peanuts were very fresh. After roasting, nothing on store shelves compares to the taste of these peanuts. The bag said "recipes inside",but I could not find them. You should include a recipe page on your website.

Might I suggest putting raw peanuts in a paper sack prior to burlap sack. Most other companies do this. I have to pick out small threads of burlap prior to using your product.

I would suggest that the products be placed in a plastic or water resistant bag and then packaged for delivery. In our case, Fedex did not announce that they had delivered our peanuts so the box sat on the porch getting wet in the rain. We hopefully saved the product by allowing it to dry in our garage.

I like the idea of cooking them to whatever degree of fineness I want. I like them darker as it brings out even more flavor. Poured into a frying pan with two tablespoons of butter they should be constantly stirred and turned over for about twenty minutes over medium heat until they turn golden brown (black is overdone!). My latest recipe for the pnuts is to dry roast them and as soon as they come out of the oven, apply a light coating of unrefined coconut oil and some fine ground Himalayn Pink Salt. They become crisp when cool with a slight hint of coconut. Excellent!

I can say it enough. I've purchased raw shelled and u shelled peanuts from Berties and prepared them in different ways. No matter what I chose, boiledin shell, dry roasted shelled, oil roasted shelled, flavored, brined and roasted in shell. Every recipe turned out amazing because of the size of these peanuts and the amazing flavor they have. Better than any store bought. I'll never go back to store peanuts. I always buy your shelled raw peanuts and have them shipped to me in Tennessee. They are perfect! I have never found a bad peanut, nor a small stone or other debris. I love these peanuts. We roast them in the air fryer until they begin to turn a hint of brown for the perfect snack food. So much better than grocery store peanuts and no additives- except a dash of salt. I highly recommend these raw peanuts and I will certainly buy again.
